it all depends whats wrong with your 360, if its a major problem and requires fixing, chances are you'll be getting a new 360, but if its a minor fix they will fix yours and send it back.
I sent mine in and I got a different system back. It looks new, but judging from it's manufactured date, I'm guessing it's refurbished.
