Including all accessories, console itself and games.
I'd say $800 for me

I payed full price for my elite last thanksgiving and bought a couple controllers and battery packs since then console wise
and for games I have purchased quite a few of them full retail and a lot more of them at steals either from ebay or from used/coupon deals. I picked up Civ Rev a week or two after release for only $30.
a used 360 from my co-worker = $250
wireless adaptor = $80
blue controller = $40
Gears of War = $30
Halo 3 = $30
Grand Theft Auto IV SE = $90
Call of Duty 4 = $30
Xbox Live MSN Messanger ChatPad= $30
A new headset = $15
Xbox Live 4000 points = $40
Xbox Live Gold 13 months = free(gift cards from my job)
Total = $635
that doesn't include the snacks that I've bought just to sit down and enjoy the games... and mind you, I bought my Xbox 360 in december 2007... and 2008 isn't over yet: MK vs DC, Gears of War 2, Banjo Kazooie, Prince of Persia, Call of Duty 5, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, Scene It(to play with my girlfriend & family), and Left For Dead are still on the way...
I own two gaming consoles, have quite a few retail games for both and have downloaded a lot of content for both. So I've lost track. I could go back and calculate it, but my brain might explode.superluigi96
XD and we dont want that, now do we!
but then again.. exploding brains ARE cool!

True.
But I lost my calculator. Oh well. Guess my brains are staying unexploded today.
lol you guys make me feel bad...my system was 400 and i've dropped about 1500 on games...LessThanMike
If I sat down and crunched the numbers I'd get something close to that. Which is why I'm not going to.
well, just 360...
console $400
15 games that I've bought x $40 average price paid probably= $600
accessories= $150
So total around $1200, but that's just xbox 360. I paid $600 for ps3 plus $300 for games and then my wii...well, as someone else said too much for me to want to calculate. Oh well, it's my main form of entertainment being in college, and I make okay money for being in college also.
Oh, just 360? I can calculate that real quick in my head, I've only had mine since E3.
System: $300
Extra controller & play & charge kit: $60
another play & charge kit: $15
Retail games: about $260
MS points: $60
So that's almost $700 I've spent since summer, and that's just on the 360. Guess I can stop blaming the economy for not having any money...
Xbox 360: $300
Games and Accessories to pass the time: $500
Xbox Live to hang with friends online (plus highspeed connection): $120
Snacks and drinks to last a weekend of 360 play time: $42.50
Sleepless nights playing GOW with your buddies and excited waiting for the next big sequal like Fable 2: Priceless

Wow, it took 15 replies before someone took the liberty of turning it into a MasterCard commercial.
i am still on my first 360 amazingly enough, so including that and about 25 retails games and DLC probably about £1250 or so, over 3 years (if its 3 years since the 360 came out i cannot remember exactly)
Console = £300
About 28 full price games = about £1000
About 7-8 non-full price games = about £200
So i have sent around £1500 on the 360 alone which is quite scary as i have neverreally thought about how much i have spenton it and i didn't think it would be that much plus i have another 6 games preordered for it so that's another £150 by the end of the year.
Well i live in australia so [prices are a bit different but i reckon if you multiply by 2/3 that would give a rough estimate.
So approximately in australian dollars i rekon i have spent:
Xbox: $5000
360: $3000
DS: $1000 (huge waste, ended up seeling it all)
Gamecube: $1500
Way too much money spent on games :P
alot

Sold Virtua Fighter 5 for $24
bought Halo 3 for $27
Sold Halo 3 for $32

around $3,000 at least. All 3 consoles plus games, add in a PSP/DS and mobile games occasionally. Plus VC, XBLA and PSN games.
Not a cheap habbit.
well.... lets see
2 360 sonsoles = £450
HD DVD Drive = £50
accessories (wifi, play & charge, contrllers etc etc) = £90
39 games averaging £30 each = £1170
Total: £1760
or around $3000 give or take
Considering I have about 20 X360 games (most of them purchased new and overpriced because I live in a foreign country), quite a few accessories, and the fact that I've had to fix the disc drive and hardware (RROD) of my 360 numerous times, I can say I've spent quite a bit on my console, maybe a bit under 1K. In addition to that I have a pretty big library of original Xbox PS2, and PSP games.
I can proudly say, however, that I've spent more $$ on my drumset than I have on my 360/all my video games. I'm pretty proud of that.
My 360 broke tooo
so i buy a xbox 360 elite for 500
400 xbox 1 (RROD) garbage
500 xbox elite
250 Wii
400 PS3
60 MGS4 (only ps3 game)
100 hack for the wii
900 15 Xbox 360 games
100 Xbox live
20 Xbox live camara
120 5 xbox 360 controlers (one broke)
20 2 xbox 360 controlers charger
$2870
