its worth it for the big harddrive, if u already have an elite, its prolly not worth it.

Tonight I swapped the HDD from my broken Elite into my Arcade Slim. Works like a charm. all I needed was Torx T6 and T10 screwdrivers.
Did it just plug into the plugs inside the channel where the HDD goes? Sort of figured it would. Is the HDD just hanging there or did you stick something under it? Just curious, I've got the 250GB version 360S, but a friend is wanting to buy the 4GB version and do the same thing to his (use his 120GB HDD).

I've had a 250GB one since June 18th and it's ran perfectly. I know 3 other people that have them and they've never had a problem. So they seem to be very reliable.
It's nice to have the built in wireless... however on the original I own I just hook it up to my Laptop... if the original works for you there's no point getting an upgraded model in my opinion. :)
It has built in wi-fi standard, which normally would cost $100, so its definetly an upgrade unless you have a wi-fi adapter. dunno about reliability, though.

I've had a 250GB one since June 18th and it's ran perfectly. I know 3 other people that have them and they've never had a problem. So they seem to be very reliable.
I'll add to this. I had mine since July 9th and my two other friends got it the day before. No problems yet they all work perfect.
