I entered mine on the 360 awhile ago and I've recieved no calls or anything, Only thing to watch out for is your LIVE sub because that will automatically renew(1, 3, or 12 month, whatever it is set to) if you don't tell it to not renew if you have a credit card in there.

They will call you if your credit card is invalid, or they cant receive payment from it and tell you to get/use a new one or you will lose gold. Thats about it. Why are you so worried about them calling you? Giving a fake number perhaps?

I had someone call from Microsoft, just to say "hi". They were kinda bored, just wanted someone to talk to. No big deal...you can give them your number.

I would say do it on your home phone, but that's just me.
