Your TV may support 1080p over Component cable, although unlikely. Your best bet is to connect the TV using the PC input.

Use the component cables that came with the premium, switch the cables to HDTV then plug in the green, blue and red video cables to the component inputs on your tv. Go to display setup switch to 1080p and your ready to play in High Defenition.. Enjoy

He has two. I think he might just be under the impression that only hdmi is HD.

I have a 1080p Samsung and run my premium 360 in beautiful 1080p with component cables. You can also try using the VGA cable if you have a VGA input on your TV. The advantage to the VGA gable is that you can us the HDDVD for 1080p for HDDVD's and to upscale your DVD's to 1080p you can not do this with the component cable.

three clues; 1080p, plasma, "viera link" - It's a Panasonic 700 series plasma, all have 2 component inputs.
