Hey everyone,

I got Halo: Reach around launch, and when I first played it, I hated it because they got rid of weapons, drop items, and dual-wielding from earlier Halo games. I played a little bit of the multiplayer but frankly couldn't stand it because of these flaws. However, this summer I started playing it again and all of a sudden I'm starting to like it. However, there are a lot less people playing now and I'm afraid I missed the opportunity of playing it when it was really popular. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Just wondering.

Thanks

I played about five months ago or so and the population was pretty good, somewhere in double digit thousands and finding games pretty fast. I also didn't like the game too much. After playing Halo 3 so much then going to all the changes Halo: Reach brought I couldn't stand it. The game is good and all but both are pretty different games. Hopefully when Halo 4 comes out the multiplayer will be like Halo 3 with a few new features.

Though just going for achievements, Medal of Honor Airborne wasn't that bad. Not to say it didn't have its problems though.

Frontline: Fuels of War. Except there was hardly anyone playing the game to begin with when it first came out.

I got Left 4 Dead 2 about a month ago...and it's a game that relies heavily on multiplayer.

I used to play LotR: Conquest. When it declined in popularity(to the point where it was nearly one community), iit was most unceremoniously axed by EA. Tyrants...

To be honest mate I dont know why halo reach triggered this thread, its still really popular with around 30,000 players online at a time thats still really popular and getting matches are not even a slight problem

Been playing Bioshock 2 MP lately and enjoying it. Sometimes it's hard to get a game but not too often. Sometimes there are problems with match-ups, too many top players on one side just wipeing out low and mid-level players over and over.

Love the Left 4 Dead series multiplayer.

Halo: Reach still has a massive online community, so no worries about finding a match there. But, yeah, I've bought primarily single player games that had MP achievements and couldn't find a game at all.

I also played the Rainbow Six Vegas games after they declined in popularity. I still enjoy them on single player.

Yeah, I got a game at launch and the online was dead about a month later. In other words, Crysis 2.

Believe it or not, Counterstrike for the xbox still has a few matches available. But seriously, there are only like 2 hosted matches available...3 if you're lucky.

Santesyu

Me and my mate sometimes like to go back on Rainbow Six Vegas every once in a while but there is only one or two games going at the best of times.

Not a game I got into when it was declined but I still play it and it's declined. Halo 3. There is usually only 4000-5000 players max whenever I'm on.
