Guitar Hero World Tour.....Mic Issues..HELP PLease

I have my mic connected and yet when I go to vocals it tells me that I must have my mic or headset hooked up. It doesn't seem to recognize that it is hooked up. Any help or suggestions? Thanks.

I am just guessing. I own the game but haven't played it in a while. Do you have a controller connected as well (either wired or wirelessly)? When I first tried to connect the whole band the mic wouldn't work; I had to figure out to have a controller on for it.

I'm having the same problem here... And it's the same for every music game, the mic is not recognized, in any of the usb ports

I have another GHWT mic and it works fine, and I plugged it on my PC and it worked.

And yes, I have a standard controller turned on
