What are some good games for the 360 that don't require too much skill in order to successfully play? Like, a game anyone can just enjoy without spending so much time learning the mechanics of it?

I would suggest fable II. The combat is simple and the game is fun.

Depends what kind of games you like. There are easy games in every type of genre so it's too general to really pick something. If you like open world games try GTAIV, it's actually not that hard to pick up and play.

Can't really think of a better suggestion than this. You will get out of the game as much as you want to put into it as well.

halo. sure it may come off hard but, with the ranking system you will play with people around. he game can be played as hardcore or you can go into gametypes and goof off.

Any Halo game on easy or normal difficulty. Bioshock wasn't too bad either.

Fable II and III are definitely good choices. Phantasy Star Universe is good as well.

Beautiful Katamari... all you do is run around and get stuff to stick to your katamari. Only difficult part is you have limited time to complete missions, but the gameplay isnt too hard.

I also agree with the person saying Halo, if you play Easy its extremely easy and almost impossible to die. Even playing Normal.

I disagree with the FPS suggestions. (assuming that the person doesn't play many video games)... Sure, playing FPS games is second nature to us now, but I remember when I played the first Halo, it took me a while to get used to using the 2 analog sticks...and don't get me started on how terrible everyone drove when they first got into a warthog....it takes a bit of learning to control an FPS game. Fable 2 is a good suggestion. It's very easy, and you only need to use one analog stick and 2-3 buttons... Castle Crashers is challenging, but easy to learn...I would suggest any fighting game as well (requires skill to be good, but anyone can mash buttons and have a chance to beat a few opponents)

Halo, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed (though the controls can be frustrating as you learn how they work contextually), Bastion, Fable II and III, Portal 2, Prince of Persia

Games to stay away from: Dark Souls, Deux Ex Human Revolution, Rainbow Six

Forza 4 is pretty simple to play if you have all the assists on and you like racing games

- Fable (2 and 3) - Any Lego Game - Rayman Origins (Does get hard later) - Castle Crashers is probably the best one I've seen listed (4-Player Co-op)
