gamestop xbox deal

I have a 500g xbox one, and recently purchased the locke controller and Halo 5.

Is it worth trading in my xbox for $250 in order to get the elite bundle, with an extra game and controller?

Or is this a stupid idea?

I personally think thats a dumb idea but if you need the extra space and want the elite (and have the $$ of course) then go for it.
