freeze on sign out of xbox live

whenever i sign out of my xbox live profile my xbox freezes. i have cleared my cache, recovered account and stopped all active downloads and it still freezes. Any suggestions?

got three red quadrants, but then restarted my console and it seemed fine. Still getting the freezes though. xbox on the way out me thinks
