I love oblivion and fable 1. and after watching both stage demos, Fallout 3 looks good. But Fable 2 looks AWSOME! I think im gonna put alot of time into fable 2 in october. which one looks better to you?

It's easy, just look at their previous games. i really can't see how anyone can compare fable 1 to morrowind and oblivion. i trust bethesda completely, they've given me no reason not to.

Well seeing as how they completely lied to us with Fable 1 and almost nothing they promised was in the game, I tend to have trust issues with them. Oblivion on the other hand pretty much delivered on all it's promises, and I also wasn't able to beat it in one day as I was with Fable 1. Based off of the developers, and previous games, I'm leaning way towards Fallout 3 on this one, oh and it does help that the other Fallout games were incredible.neo-rtsd
I agree, although i never tried Fable 1, i do remember Black & White 2, that is probably the most dissapointing game i've ever tried:cry: i can't forget how much i looked forward to that game, sitting and jumping up and down all day just waiting for that game. And then it finally arrives, and 2 days later i've completet it, and i am just like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" but hopefully after the complaints from Fable 1 and Black & White 2, Peter Molyneux has learned his lesson, and Fable 2 looks like a GOTY title for me, if not the Local Co-op will be more than enough :D and despite that im still getting Fallout 3.
Fallout 3. Not even close, if I had to choose. I enjoyed the first Fable and plan on getting the second one, too. But I'm far more excited to pick up Fallout 3.
Wow in this i cant really say much but Fable 2 looks great but i would wait till after christmas so i would say Fallout 3 then play Fable2 after Xmas and wait for those 2009 games to come out just my opinion though.
fallout 3 looks alot better too me and fable never fulfilled its promises so i can't waste full price on it again, i'll just get fable 2 when it gets about 30$.
I am probably getting both, but I will be getting Fable 2 first. Main reason being that I have never played Fallout 1 or 2 (though I own both on PC) but I heard great things about the series. I have been waiting for Fable 2 for a long time, plus Molyneux is finally delivering on what was promised in the first game. My only hope is that the story is infinately longer than that of the first Fable.
I love the post-apocoyptic theme and the idea of exploring the world. Seems a lot more immersive to me than Fable 2. I'm still getting both so it doesn't matter.
definately getting fallout three first, I want to see some reviews of fable 2, some of the new ideas may work excellent, or fall short. Im sure they will be awesome, but still a little hesitant to drop 60 on it without seeing some other opinions.
Wow this is a tough decision. I gotta go with Fallout3 based on the setting alone. I played Fable 1 and I've never played Oblivion so I don't know what to expect, but I know alot of people love that game. Didn't look like it was my type of game, but Fallout3 definitely does. I like the whole coming out of the vault thing to look for dad.

Ah, so you're an achievement whore. In that case, you're probably better off NOT getting Fallout 3. It'll be too difficult for you. Stick to Madden, GTA, Viva Pinata and Halo.
I love the look of both games definately and will be buying them as soon as there out but if I had to pick one over the other I would pick Fable 2. Bethesda are very good at making non-stop gameplay possible as shown with Oblivion but when I watched Fable 2 at E3 2008 the extent of gameplay really has been taken to the limits I dont know bout everyone else but when I look for a game the most important thing to look for is how many hours of game play it has to offer with no repetition.
I don't even need time to think about it. Fable 2 will blow Fallout 3 out of the water. I liked it when I heard that Bethesda was making it, but when I saw the stage demo I got kinda sad cuz it didn't really have the feel of Oblivion. Maybe that's a good thing. I'm sure I'll get it any way, eventually.
