#3 was a real letdown for me especially after how great #2 was. At least they made up for it in 4 and 5. I heard that besides infinity ward's CoD:MW2 treyarch has CoD:7 in the works, i believe that there is a recent gamespot article to that effect. back to the topic at hand wasnt there a CoD called "finest hour" i think i remember one called that.

Amen, reminds me of good times on X-Fire. It was my first multiplayer I ever played online...*wipes away tear*. I thought the original was way harder than the sequels. I'm not sure if I even beat it. However, I though the multiplayer was WAY better than CoD4's and WaW's. I never got to play Call of Duty 2's multiplayer. My computer just wasn't juiced enough for it. Hell, the only way I was able to play campaign was to bring down all the graphical settings.
The only ones I ever played were 4 and WAW. I don't think I could go back and play the others at this point. Looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 though.

It'll be called CoD5 not Cod7 because they haven't made a CoD5 yet

CoD 5 is CoD WaW, Activision eliminated the numbers in the Call of Duty series, so WaW is 5, Modern Warfare 2 is 6, and the name of CoD 7 is to be revealed.
