So now i have this CRT tv - http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/413770_-29pt9521-philips.html how you can see its 4:3 but it shows very good picture, if im right its the best crt tv whit 4:3 format on the market. Anyway how games would look on 4:3, maybe better to buy LCD monitor wide 19inch?
Honestly you should really wait until the middle or the 3rd quarter of the year, then make your decision. The reason being PS3 has a great lineup too coming up, otherwise you'll buy a 360 then when they end up being like the 1st XBox you are gonna go and buy a PS3 anyways, if it pushes out the games like PS2 did by the end of the year.

Sorry dude can't help you there. I'm using a 70" Sony Grand Wega XBR2, I'd post a pic of that and show you both versions of some of the multiplat games and you could clearly see that PS3's is better, but I don't have a digital camera right now.
it'll look somewhat nice if the tv has a component input (red, green, blue). it won't be high definition but it'll look alot better than just plugging in just the yellow cable. and the nice thing is, the 360 already comes with the component cables. i don't know if the pscrap comes with them.
I had a somewhat smaller regular TV when I got my xbox and bought a 19 inch widescreen a few months ago. You don't want to go back after you've seen gears of war on 720p/i. Definitly get a lcd monitor, if you are willing to spend more go for 22 inch. But keep an eye on the response time, 5 ms or less is fine
 the graphics dont change all an hdtv does is up the resolution so small things are easy to see and its only needed in games with small text so unless your getting a big hdtv dont even bother. before i got my hdtv i used a 27 inch sdtv and it looked great but ill never be going back
on 4:3 ur just get letter boxed and everything looks normal.
I used to have an 15'' crt and it didn't have any troubles with it apart from it being small. Now i have 32'' hdtv and everyone is perfect. the point is it wont matter what size it is.

the ps3 is different from the 360 atleast from what ive seen and that is when i played my ps3 on 4:3 some stuff would be off of the screen... take virtua fighter for example u can have your ps3 set to 4:3 but your still gonna have stuff barley fitting on the screen. but on 360 when i played on 4:3 everything was on the screen.

Thats no fanboy he just told the truth I think your a fanboy for starting that. Back to the Question now I know it works for xbox360 because my friend plays his xbox360 on a 32 inch sdtv.

apparently u didn't see gamespots head to heads 360 looked better in most, not all but most, so don't go liying to newer gamers
