Borderlands 2 modded guns and shield

I played the first borderlands and almost everyone had a modded gun and shield but I have yet to find anyone in borderlands 2 with a modded gun or shield. Did they patch this? If not is anyone willing to give me a few!? thanks!

I knew this was coming, ive beat the game twice so shut it. i just want the mods to level some friends up and get stuff faster.

Doesn't matter if you beat the game 50+ times, it's still cheating.
