Best offline two player games?

I've got an xbox with no Internet, and two controllers. Are there any good two player games for this setup?

Its a damn fun whit some friends over at ya house, blur giving you a chance many games dont support 2 player offline anymore!

Borderlands and Gears 1 and 2 is really all you need. :)

Don't know if you mean just a co-op game, but my buddies and I have tons of fun playing little tournaments in Fifa 10 and NBA 2k10
