Battlefield Bad Company 2 Lag is no more(or barely there)?

There were topics about it before, and about how bad it was for some, but for the last 2 weeks that I've played, I didn't seem to experience it, and I play it a long time too. There was also this link about them saying they were going to fix it, and for the most part, I believe it. Do you still lag sometimes?

Also, I'm a Rank 46, 4 more to 50, woot!

Since the last major update a couple weeks ago it has been playing silky smooth for me. I was one of the ones with serious lag problems prior to the update.

Last time I played I didn't lag at all.

Had lag earlier. Hit detection still seems a little off at times...YoungSinatra25

Yea they had an update around last week I think that fixed the lag. Now if only they would fix the balancing issues....93soccer

Got the game friday and been playing it pretty much non stop for the whole time, never encountered any lag at all. Hit markers can be off at some points but usually in my favour, such as i'll shoot them in the chest but then get extra points for a headshot.

They definately need to sort out the spawn camping maybe by adding a "invincibility" timer on when you spawn in your base for 5-10 seconds so you can readily defend yourself from the noobs in your spawn. Although even with this they will probably wait until this has worn off and shoot you in the back while your trying to return to the battle.

Hm..i'll have to see...i was having horrible lag before..so i joined the EU servers..

Me neither. I never understood what people were talking about.

no lag? i might play it again in a bit. also can anyone tell me how i can link my bad company 2 with the EA website. it registers me as an EA user and when i try put my gamertag in it says this is already taken or something...its very confusing

Thank the lord, is it my birthday? I ahven't been able to play the game for like 3 months because (A) - the lag and (B) - the fact that it took like 5 minutes for me to spawn, and when I did I was dead again before I could move.

So this patch give me hope for a chanc I might be able to play again.

P.S my PC is not up to spec so I know I will have issues, but hope is hope.
