well 08 is looking like its ps3's come back. however 07 was considered the best year of gaming to date. and once you take away cyrsis, mario galaxy and metroid all the games appeared on the xbox360. in other words the xbox saw the best year of gaming ever.
your friend is lying. there isn't are barely any exclusives coming out in next 2 months. and few are good. same with 360. Jan and Feb are times when games usually don't come out(including blockbusters). they usually save the best for Sept-Nov. Next big bunch of games to come is around in March to July period
Well Frontlines: fuels of war was cancelled for ps3 several days ago so if that counts and Alan Wake don't get delayed (which is likely) we'd have two within the next 3 months...
