theres a really good community game called... i think its called mass firepower or something like that. the name has something to do with big guns. but anyways, if you find it, its the only good community game as far as im concerned. and its a platformer.

and theres a metal slug game or two in there as well. those are always really good

Prince of persia. If you really want strict platforming then that is your game. I wanted more action so I thought it was boring. All it is is jumping around. However the jumping is pretty much automated to the point where you dont feel like you are really controlling the character.

Definatly Braid and Metal Slug, two awesome games, and IMO Metal Slug having the upperhand.
