Are steering wheel's worth it?

At my friends house, I've really been getting into Forza 5, Horizon 2 looks awesome and Now I want Forza 6. Plus Project Cars is now released, so I've been thinking. Various companies sell steering wheels. Are they something to look into?

Some people swear by wheels, while others say don't bother, so I'm curious what you all think.

I purchased one to play Gran Turismo 3, tried it for about an hour, placed it in it´s box never to be used again, ended up selling it for pennies several years later

same with me but i kept mine just to goof around with arcade racers.

burnout 3 was such a blast but it dies quickly
