i proberly wont get it. i played halo 1 for pc and soooo unimpressed, i mean i wouldnt want to play that instead of good 1st person shooters like call of duty etc. i might get it if it gets a good review, ill rent it first
Well I don't have a 360 yet (getting the Elite)... but I have played Halo 1 and 2 at a friends house and it's just not my style of shooter. I'm a PC gamer but also console sometimes, and I'm more into a realistic game like Vegas. If I was to go techy... I'd go with GRAW2, but not Halo 3. I've always thought it was overated.

nee the halo one for the computer is crape compared to the xbox version the controlls just make that game on they xbox.
I won't be buying it. Halo is a polished product, but contains nil in the form of actual innovation. I'm looking forward to HL2, BioShock, etc. Shooters that advance the genre FTW!
OMFG! all of u say u wont get it r tards...Halo 3 is probly one of hardest worked on games for the 360, the guy that says that HL2 advanced the genre is also a tard...the only inovative thing 'bout it was the gravity gun, don't get me wrong i'm also excited for it's release on the 360, but halo integrated melleeing flawlessly rather than an afterthought like other games, it made u chose weapons wisely rather than picking up everything u stumbled upon, vehicular battle was fun and smooth unlike most clunky vehicular scenes that r made to switch up the pace.
anyway if theres a game u shood pick up it's defnetly halo 3!...unless ur underage or action doesn't appeal to you at all.
I just wanted to see how many people who have the 360 but don't want Halo 3. Personally I love the Halo games.xTheExploited
What other reason is there to have a 360? that's the reason it exists. and don't give me gears of ****, thats just something to keep you occupied until bungie comes out with the system's true killer app.
I definitely won't get it on launch. Halo has never impressed me as much as other people, but it's still a good game. I will eventually get it, but not on launch.
I guess I lack a soul, 'cause I have a 360. I'll probably rent it. It's a good series, but not great. The first two were sort of unimpressive. Unless Bungie makes some drastic improvements to level design in the single player campaign, I'll pass. I'm not a big console multiplayer fan. I get all of my multiplayer action on the PC.
Halo 3 is gonna' be a system seller, but probably won't increase XBL membership by all that much. I think percentage wise nearly everyone with a 360 has Live. On the note of not innovating anything, I think everyone always over-looks something. The Halo 2 matchmaking/lobby system raised the bar to a level that I think every developer needs to shoot for. It's sad that we haven't seen any more innovation on that front in recent titles.

I loved Halo and it was a great game when it came out. One of the things I liked most was that when you had people with you they actually helped, or at least survived. Halo 2 I didn't care for at all. If it was up to me, I would buy Halo 3 when the price drops just to finish the SP (that is only if it plays somewhat similar to Halo 2). I hated Halo 2 online unless I was in a custom game with friends and playing something like Derby or Zombies. Most of my Live friends though will probably get it though, therefore I wil probably buy it when it is released.
I'll get it but I'm not wetting my pants over it like a lot of people are. Don't get me wrong, halo is great but it's not the only good game or series the 360 has to offer. I have halo for the pc and it was fun though not spectacular(though I did really like the vehicular combat). I have halo 2 on my 360 and so far I've been underwhelmed, though I've only played single player because I can't play multiplayer. The frustration I'm experiencing over not being able to get multiplayer to work right is also making me think negatively of the series a bit.

No, i haven't played halo/halo2 , and i'm not going to buy halo 3 , just becouse "0mg u sux0rzZ 1f U @r3nt getT1ng t3h hal0" , i just don't think that i would like it.
I have a 360 and I'm not going to get Halo 3. The first one was mediocre, lots of bland, repetitive hallways. Didn't think it was anything special, although it had nice production. Played about half of Halo 2 with a friend and then we both lost interest. Maybe I'll pick up Halo 3 when it hits the $29.99 bargain bins, but even that is iffy. I've always thought the Halo games were overrated. Oh well, to each his own.
maybe me. I have to see how well it turns out. I don`t quite like Halo 2............ But I think that Halo 3 will be really good, specailly multiplayer.
