After Resident Evil 4? oh hell no im not...
Take generic 3rd person shooter gameplay, add smart mutant/zombie variants and the umbrella corporation, slap Resident Evil on the cover... Done.
Resident evil 4 is NOT what resident evil should be. Period. and i will NEVER understand why so many people love it... but hey, to each his own.
i'll keep the good memories of what Resident Evil USED to be safe in my mind and far away from those morons at capcom.
I am excited, but I am not happy with Capcom for not releasing the demo for NA.
The games will sell more copies in NA than JP. What the hell is wrong with them...
i agree 100 percent. After Resident Evil 4? oh hell no im not...

Yeah, because the only enemies that are in the game are zombies...no, of course not. There were also zombie fish, zombie giants, zombie gladiators, zombie guys like looked like Voldo from Soul Caliber, cultists, cultists with giant shields and a whole bunch of really neat boss fights... the enemies are really varied, that i agree with.. but the things that made Resident evil, Resident evil... Tension, fear, desperation and more importantly the controls that were widely disliked actually added to the experience that was a good Resident Evil game. Resident Evil 2 is my personal favourite and Resident evil 4 just destroyed (in my own personal opinion) my love for the series.
Im so excited for it, ive beaten every resident evil, and am so pumped for this one.
But, theres no way they're not going to get sued, I mean, come on, in the latest cutscene, they RPG'd a full town of black people...
*facepalm*
I mean, I hope it doesn't get sued, but goodness, reverend Jackson is gonna have a field day with this game.

exactly
back when RE was good, i would get an adrenaline rush when i encounter some zombies. in those days, zombies was a force to be reckcon with.
with re 4, that feeling, that adrenaline rush, that "greatness", was absent from the game "omg a bunch of zombies are swarming me" no problem, just shoot one in the leg and press a, and kaboom, you're safe. RE 4 was complete trash and so will be re 5.
sometimes i feel like that internet isn't real. Out of all my friends i was the only one who beat the game even though i though re4 suck balls i had to finish it. i let my friends borrow the game and its the same reaction with them, the game suck and they got to bored with to even finish the game. i am very confuse at why people on the internet like re4 and why the hype for re5. that game going suck too.
There is no way Capcom could keep on with the control scheme they had been using for the first 3 official Resident Evil games, they had to move the series forward and evolve. Yes, Resi 4 was more action-orientated over the previous games, but there were still a lot of tense, and more importantly, scary moments in the game. There were for me anyway... The controls for the first Resi games are the way they are because of the fixed camera setup they've got going on. Because of technology moving forward, 3D environments were getting better - Capcom had to go down the fully 3D world route. Their over the shoulder view-point worked extremely well, and has been used for countless other games (more notably Gears of War) since its release.skullflower
theres nothing wrong with the new control system. the problem is that these new zombies or infected villagers aren't scary at all. like i said. shoot one in the leg and press a.
