Hey guys whats up? I was wondering if there was a point where anyone here stopped gathering achievement points for a game. I mean, is a score of 300 G or 400 G enough, or is the full 1000 necessary? Or do some not even care? I like to level it off at around 300- 400 G, as by that time I usually have completed the main story mode and maybe some side ones. I don't mine going back for more points, but this is a good level off for me. Where does everyone else stand?

I don't really care much for achievements, if it's something that takes extra time but would be fun to get I will go outta my way to get it

I try to get as many as possible but if it is too difficult I won't bother. The single exception is COD4. That game had quite a few difficult achievements but I did them all anyway. I never got "Seriously" for Gears, and I skipped four achievements for GTAIV.

I try to keep my percentage above 75%. I don't do it for games I don't like, though.

if i can 1000G i am there but i will setting for at least 70% or the achievements unlocked! or 75! all my games r above 80 and i have 15 at 100% but there r a few that r low that i cant do anything about! i like having a good completion on my games though

It really depends on the game. Some games I just stop at quite a low gamerscore, if they the game has really hard achievements, but with other ones, if they are quite possible, I will go for more.

Seeing as most games you play through you get a good portion of the achievements, I will go out of my way to get at least a majority of the achievements. Minus the "find all 999,999,999 orbs, flags etc." those just really annoy me. :P

I usually aim to get 600 or higher, unless i love the game in which case ill try for the full 1000.

I am not really into achievements, if I get bored with a game I may go after some of the achievements just to get a bit of extra playability out of it though. But on average my GS-per-game is around the 500 mark.

100%-collection achievements for me. I just hate scavenging everywhere in games, unless it adds more content (Halo 3 skulls) or there's only around 30 things to collect (Gears).
