Ocarina of Time. Self-explanatory.
Shadow of the Colossus. I felt like a real bastard killing all the beasts but it was for the good cause of reviving my girlfriend, just to find out that I was a puppet all along and...ahhh...it was just sad.
The Darkness, of course, when Jenny dies, but the part where you're chasing after Eddie Shrote and he says "Hey Estacado, I recall shooting your girlfriend".
And The Darkness says "She's deaaaad, Jenny JennyjennyjennyHAHAHA!"
I laughed so hard and then realized how messed up that was.
AND!
And..
Silent Hill 2, during all three of Maria's deaths followed by the reminiscing. That game was pretty damn emotional.
And and and...Silent Hill 4. I felt so much remorse for Walter during the end battle. Sad pathetic little boy that never grew up.
Yes, it is. IMO, it's one of the top 3 Xbox 360 games if you're only into SP games.is the darkness worth it by the way ???
Reaper_Squad
you guys are a bunch of wusses...just kidding.....
i got very emotional when in the end of twilight princess, midna shattered the portal between links world and hers, and thus can never meet link again...it was so depressing, but cinematic..i may have bust a tear..lol.....
Half Life 2 Episode 2 & Mass Effect *SPOILER*!!!!
Mass effect, when I lost Kaiden and when the game makes you believe that Shepard died. The other one was Half Life 2 Episode 2, when Eli died. Eli was one of the most emotional character I've been with sense he has been with us sense Half Life 1. It also shocked me too because I wasn't expecting that to happen. I wasn't bursting in tears though but it did make me feel emotional.
Damnit, shouldn't have read that first post. I'm only a couple hours into Mass Effect.
Anyway, for me I'd say FFX is one of, if not the, most emotional games I've played through. Its not often I find myself wanting to cry but FFX does it every damn time I watch the ending.
When I had to destroy my WCC.
WHY GLADoS! WHY!
And how CoD4 leaves you hanging. And I got mega ticked when johnson dies in Halo 3.
I still remember that introductory movie, and now I cry every time I see it.:?
MGS3 ending, So epic and well done, Brought a tear to my eye.DevilsDontCry13
I second that... all the MGS games get my emotions going. Halo 3 was also great.
Mass effect, Zelda OoT (favourite game ever, always makes me feel like a little kid when I play it), Half Life 2 + EP 2 & 3, RE4, SM Galaxy (made me feel like a little kid too, and the end cutscene is awesome) and when you save a little sister on Bioshock - the music in the background is so uplifting, that is the only reason I saved the little sisters coz it gave me such a strong emotional response. Harvesting them just felt wrong. Good topic BTWshadow-wraith
Agreed (BioShock comment).
The Darkness... what a game. i coulnt believe that Jenny was dead. i Thought it was a bad dream or something till i relize... she was really dead!! rompetraserosAgreed, I never felt an emotion as I did with The Darkness, it was just really sad that I cried when she was killed.
I cried when Zelda:OoT was over. I just didnt want it to end. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. IT WAS JUST SO EPIC!RyanShazamI was sad about that but what made me emotional was Link leaving the Kingdom and going to the place in Majora's Mask..........mind u i was 11 or somin :P
Well, at the end of Halo 3 the funeral for Master Chief brought a tear to my eye but I filled up with happiness and joy at the same time. BUT! after the credits when I saw that Master Chief was still alive while floating to some sort of mechanical looking planet my jaw just dropped and my eyes never closed again.
