I'd wait for fable 2 but I quite enjoyed Blue Dragon although it doesn't show you're charactor wearing updated armour but it's not for everyone. I'd hear eternal sonata is supposed to be quite good, not sure about many others

I don't know of any great games as such with multiplayer...

Mass Effect shows off your new armor, as unimpressive as the different skins may be... And you have an AI party.

I'd say Oblivion would hit closest to home for ya though.

Dance Dance Revolution 2 would be the game you're looking for. xD

Nah, I'm messing with ya. Buy Oblivion, Mass Effect or Eternal Sonata. Although I'd recomend Mass Effect the most.

Gauntlet on XBLA is the only game like that. Otherwise i'd point you in the direction of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Gamecube.

I can't think of any multiplayer RGPs in the works either at the moment.

Actually i lied, i completely forgot about Marvel Ultimate Alliance, you would probably really like that if you liked Gauntlet Legends and Diablo 2. Up to 4 players online or off.

Well, the only game I can think of thats out right now would be Marvel Ultimate Alliance. But come september, Sacred 2 for the 360 will be coming out. Its exactly like diablo and all the those other games. It has 2 player splitscreen multiplayer and online coop. The environment in the game is huge. You can do any mission you want in any order. It also has several different character classes. Look it up to find out more.

The only game I am aware of that is an RPG and allows 4 players at once (other than old school like Gauntlet) is a game that is supposed to be release in Q4 of this year called "Borderlands".

The game looks great and the 4 player action will be welcomed by many. :)

Anyway here is a GS link - make sure and check out the "preview" section for more info:

Kingdom under Fire: Circle of DoomArmor_Biff

I'm curious about your experiences and thoughts on KUF:COD? I own it but haven't played it yet. Seems like it has gotten a ton of bad publicity. The gameplay footage I've seen looks great - but I will only be playing it in SP mode. I almost traded it in without playing it when I heard so many bad things about it but I hate trading in games, so can ya let me know what you think of the game?

Thanks.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was a really fun game. It's like Gauntlet,, except you play as Marvel characters.

I think Kingdom Under Fire: Circle Of Doom is the only 4 player co-op rpg, and it's *not* a good game, not even solid, it's below average.

KUF:COD is a hack n slash game with RPG elements. You have quests, items, bosses and many different locations and enemies. I dont care what other people think of the game, I like it. And it also has a function that many co-op games seem to be missing: The ability to join a game in progress. So finding games online is easy.

The only thing I find a bit annoying are those players with their 7462089075 damage weapons and similar amounts of life. I mean what more is there to do if you can beat anything with just one hit ?

I think Marvel Ultimate Alliance is probably your best bet for 4 player storyline RPG. KUF: COD only allows you to have multiplayer online (no local). Fable 2 would be a great addition, but that would only be 2 players; not 4.

I remember playing a lot of Baulder's Gate: Dark Alliance and Diablo 2. They were GREAT multiplayer RPG. We don't have very many of those now a days. That would be a lot of fun to play something like Baulder's Gate nowadays.

Oblivion.

Also, Arkadian Warriors on XBLA arcade is fun.

EDIT: Marvel Ultimate Alliance is perfect for you. Four player RPG madness. It's a ton of fun.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned Castle Crashers on XBLA. That game is really good. It looks really kiddy but seriously, it's such an awesome game. You can play 4 way coop either on Xbox live or locally. Its got a simple levelling system that works AND it's a pretty long and challenging game!!!
