What are the rules?

Well the way that the game recommendation thread went with everyone helping out and excited for a new one I thought that maybe if we had a hub to talk we could make this area even better.

Interesting idea. I'm all for the lounge and I don't want to be a party pooper, but I can't help but wonder what good this will do long-term. :P After all there is already an OT board and if you don't need to talk about 360 related things here then....

Hopefully there'll be no huge flame wars, huh? Well, I'd like to kick things off by asking how many of you guys use your Xbox to stream media. I've taken to using Vuze and I can even do stuff like HD trailers. After using Zune for the longest time, it's nice to finally be able to watch videos of almost any format.

Nope. I usually install the game I play the most, but I don't have an install right now. I'm running out of room. I have a 20GB HDD and once I get Live, some Arcade games, and some more save files, I won't have room to install. I'm trying to get a new Elite, but I'm saving up for a DSi XL(Lite), OLED TV, 7.1 Surround sound, completely redone PC, and some other things.

What confuses me more are the people that post "should I install the game to the hard drive?" I mean in the time you get a response you could already have the game ripped to the drive.

I understand that people want to make sure and all that jazz but why would a console maker add a feature that was detrimental to the experience?

Well, there are a few older games that work better without installs. So, maybe they'd rather be sure that it improves the game before bothering with the install.

I was wondering why we never had one of these but anyway I love Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Well obviously it's been an oversight of mine lol

I LOVE Jeff Garlin, I think he's hilarious and watch all his specials when they're on (he's got one on Netflix right now)
