EA Sports has the best game for "EVERY SPORT" Madden, Live, FiFA, The STREET SERIES

and dont even forget about Fight Night

2k's boxing game don king looks like crap, FNR3 came out at launch with 360 and still has better graphics than it, Its really dumb 2k needs to stop making sport games and cont. GTA series and other games they make.

Live is not better than 2k.

Judging by your FNR3 reference, you are obviously a graphics whore. That is the only way Live is better than 2k. Madden wins by default. NBA Street hasn't been good since Vol 2. NFL Street has never been good. Fifa Street is average at best.

NBA 2k8 is waaaay better then NBA Live. I was a big NBA Live fan back when i was young, but these days 2k makes the better basketball game these days by far.

2K also sells very well for basketball, while EA runs the football and everything else basically. But they are WAY behind in the basketball aspect imo.

yah, i usually do pick ea over 2k for my sports gaming needs, but definitely not for basketball, nba2k is the best bball game out and it has been for a long time now.

live has gotten better but id rather stick with 2k

i would have to say that i enjoy 2k sports quite a bit more than EA

Madden has no competition so however bad a madden game is it will still be bought because nothing else has an NFL roster. When ESPN 2k football games were made i prefered them over Madden by FAR and they were cheap when released.

As for basketball nothing has to be said. 2k has Live beat as has been stated many times already.

considering the only sports games i play are the occasional basketball or football, i would have to say 2k. in the past there football was far superior to madden. and their basketball games now but live to Sh**. i dont play many sports games at all. as i never played 2ks last football game w/e it was. but i play the basketball every now and then ill give them a rent if im that boired ya know. but in my opinion i go with 2k. not evening bringing into account that EA is nothing but money hungry and trying to Monoplize the gaming industry so were forced to play crap games. but its w/e.

yes the 2k basketball games have been better than "live" for a few years now, and if EA didnt have the football license, then the 2k football game would be better too. i loved the 2k football games. and hey dude whered you find those videos of killzone 2?

I loved fight night but that Don King game looks amazing to me. Graphics look just as good with more of an emphasis on footwork. Even the min training games look like a lot more fun.

Sorry to break the news to you, but the only reason people play Madden over the NFL2K series, is because, well. EA bought the rights to the NFL and ESPN. EA knew they were getting stomped by the NFL2K series, so they bought up the licenses and forced 2K out of the NFL race. Believe me, when I worked at GameCrazy, NFL2K5 was out selling Madden 2 to 1. People also don't realize that competition is good for the consumer. Now EA can sit back and make all the crap sports games they want!

Hockey would have improved your argument, and you didn't even list it as a sport, god.

NHL 08 is wayyyyy better than NHL2k8. That's a fact. But that doesn't mean I think the other 2k sports games are bad.

The only sports game EA makes anymore that I am remotely interested in in NHL 08 (BEST.SPORTS.GAME.EVER!). I used to like the MVP series also but all other sports games are boring. I used to like Madden but I outgrew that stale franchise.xxxMoreBeerxxx

2K games are way better imo NBA series has been better than live since 2k came out on dreamcast NFL 2k5 was better than madden 05 . EA streets games SUCK. I enjoyed All pro better than Madden this year. All pro side lines were live If someone runs out of bounds the players will grab them. 2k puts much more detail in there games than EA. EA is lazy and think they can make sales jus because they're EA. You probably never played any 2k sports games EA fanboy. Tell EA stop trying to by all there competition out and make better games. I cant believe u said Live is better than NBA 2k its not even close

This is the first year in almost a decade that EA hockey has even shown up as competition. NHL 08 wouldn't be the game it is without NHL 2K.lockjaw333

And this is exactly the point I was trying to make. Competition is good for the consumer. It forces these devs/pubs to produce better quality products. If EA loses its competition, then we're all screwed. It's already getting that way now! It'll be that same game squeezed out every year with very minor tweaks. Hell they might even remove things, like EA has been known to do. So you're paying for a new game that has less features then the previous year. Sounds fantastic! :roll:

I don't know man, remember Ready 2 Rumble on the Dreamcast? Now that was an awesome cartoony boxing game! Let's hope EA can even achieve a fraction of the fun that R2R provided.

Well EA is definitely a stronger company and have deeper pockets - hence their games look better. But the actually gameplay of these games sucks! FN3 is the only standout game they have. Now now, I know FIFA, NHL, and SKATE are all great game but I'm only talking bout the big three. BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, AND FOOTBALL. To me all that other stuff doesn't count. EA is gr8 at making awesome games that nobody plays - if you play these games I'm not calling you a nobody they are just not big sports in America.

Now let's look at the big three. Basketball - Live sucks! Anytime you can perform a lay-up from half court your game will always suck! They need to fix this. NBA2k8 is awesome. It's like playing a real game and you can't dunk from half court. lol They have a good majority of the players' sign. styles, something Live tried to copy but failed.

Football - Madden is ok! But it's just the same game over and over again. They take features out then install them back the very next year and stay it's a new feature. lol And what's up with the picks. I'm so tired of dropping ints. I don't know what to do. What do you have to do to get a pick in Madden? I drop like 10+ a game. Other than that Madden is a great game it just doesn't have competition so nothing really ever changes. Look at this year. The new feature their pushing is online leagues. OHHHHH!!! Wouldn't worry about that being 2k's game like 3-4 years ago.

Baseball- MBL2k8 is a good game. Not great but good. I do love what they've done with the right analog stick to control pitching. That's awesome.

Now even though this game isn't in the big three it is EA's saving grace. FN3! OMG! Now this is what a sport title is all about and it came out close to launch. Nothing beats throwing a jab, jab, st8 right combo with the right analog. It makes the game so competitive because if you mess your motion up your punch will be messed up. I love it. I still play it today. Gr8 game.

So with that said right now I with 2k but I think EA is gonna rebound strong I just don't know when it will be. Or maybe it will never come because it is obvious EA's goal right now is to make money by any means neccessary. Their focus use to be making quality sports titles but that has changed now. And what's up with the Streets series. Those are jokes!
