The event was officially announced at the end of a RAWhouse show on December 28, 2006 held at the arena. Tickets for SummerSlam 2007 went on sale on December 30, and sold out in 40 minutes.

wow tickets sold out in 40 minutes. thats very weird. i was going to buy some with my friends since we could go there by car but when we called in april the tickets were sold out. i didnt know it was going to sell out that quickly though. theres probably some people selling on ebay though.friutpunch

it is coming to my home state of New Jersey, and we really dont get ppv's here much

I remeber awhile ago here in Anaheim we hosted Wrestlemania...how many have wrestlemanias you hosted?? lol J/P..anyways that will be sweet indeed to see my love return to the ring and save the wwe. And now that Randy orton is almost garaunteed the championship..Cenas time will definently be over and we wont have to see his ugly face on tv all the damn time..I hope he gets pushed to smackdown and he and batista can take turns on getting title shots.X_Anathema_X

Well I personally think they could have done better on the Poster, but glad they got rid of the "Jackass" one for obvious reasons! and I think you might wanna add the "khali and Batista" match....that match seems more and more likely to happen! :(Howell123

I have some predictions:

Triple H will return and obviously defeat Booker

Randy Orton will defeatCena and rightfully take the throne as the Champ

Khali will defeatBatista...(Boring match of the night)

Rey will beat chavo of course.

oh and this time CM punk will win against my liking

i just seriously hope that there will be other matches at Summerslam that are not one-on-one

they got to put londrick against cade and murdock for the titles and matt hardy vs mvp in a ladder match for the titleralphocop

now that would be awesome, and ever since London & Kendrick went to Raw, they have been treated like crap, they havent got a shot at the World Tag Titles yet

here what the plans shoud be...Orton wins...he feuds against Cena for a while..then HHH gets into the title picture. Maybe Cena vs Orton untill Survivor Series..then HHH takes over wins belt..maybe it drags untill WM24..it should.
