WWEv - Video Games

What began as an experiment is now permanent. This thread is the ideal place to post anything about any (non-wrestling) video game.

You can post hype about future games, post your experiences on games of new and old, and you can even challenge your fellow WWEv members to a showdown on any game of your choice.

Of course, y'all will still need to abide by the WWEv rules & regulations and GameSpot's TOS. (Be a good sport, and not a sore loser. Flaming is forbidden on these boards.)

If you have any ideas for a new WWEv GameNight, please post 'em in this thread.

For the person that cares, I'll be posting my CAPPVs from SVR 06 in here from here on out. I figure its the best place for it, with the SVR 06 thread god knows where.

I'm not sure what else I can contribute with me and my archaic, so not online PS2.

anyone that has Alex Shelley on ther CAPPV is a winner in my book.

I'm not really into video game anymore. Or, at least not as much as I used to be.

I still play GH2 as much as I can, and try to play Socom: Fire Team Bravo 2 on my psp on weekends and stuff. I'd be glad to hook up with some of you online if you'd like.

Ok, Gears is getting annoying. I don't see how any new player can beat this on hardcore without a co op partner. Maybe i should try to beat casual by myself ( beat it co op with oreoshane) but it's just annoying. I'm up to like, the 5th checkpoint or something in act 1. You got Dom and co just hopping out in the open getting shot and killed. You got me trying to run over and save them, and then I get killed. I know what you're thinking...I shouldn't even try to save them. Well, the truth is that I need them. I need them bad. I need some type of decoy because I'd get killed immediately if it was only me out there. That's what makes co op perfect. You have another guy to come out and reinforce you, and you have a few other guys as decoys.

Anybody have any tips on how to get better at this game? I just suck terribly at it and it's really pissing me off. I want to get better, and i try to do the campaign, but doing the campaign over and over and failings gets frustraiting and boring. So then i got and do an Xbox Live match. Not a Ranked match, i know to stay clear from those, but a player match. And what happens? I get complained to for one reason or another. It just seems like I'll never get good at this.

So - what games have you folks been playing as of late?

As of late, personally, I have been addicted to the virtual console, with Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts being latest example of that point. And with that being said, even on the "normal" setting, bloody thing is hard as hell - took me better part of 35-40 mintues to pass 1st level.

Played for a bit Raw vs Smackdown 07, but returned in the mail today to gamefly. Storyline mode got boring after beating it a couple times. Was it just me or could you not compete for other titles in storymode? I created a cruiserweight and after a few wins was in the HW title hunt.mrgab

I agree. I hate making guys then suddenly being a week after No Way Out and about to challenge the world champ 3 at wrestlemania 3 weeks after my debut.
