This will probably turn out to be one of the predictable RAW's. Gee...I wonder who Edge and Cena will pick. Cena will obviously choose Flair while Edge will pick Masters. I'll be surprised to see it differ really.

I wonder what'll happen with Michaels/Vince this week. They will probably announce that he'll enter #1 in RR or something.

Edge: I got HHH, and theres no one better than HHH. Besides me of course...And dont think about the Big Show, he's not even in the arena tonight. HHH took care of him last week.

Well, assuming WWE doesn't go with the obvious (yeah, its unlikely), how cool would it be for Cena to choose RVD to make his surprise return?  RVD scores a pinfall over the WWE Champion to set him up instantly as another challenger and really cement him as a potential Rumble winner... Well, its a nice dream, anyway.

Raw looks good enough to warrant a viewing.  Shelton-HBK, at worst, will be good.  However, I have to assume McMahon will screw things up, somehow.

All I care about is that Fantasy starts this week.BATMAYNE

Shelton beats HBK then a Haas comes out and berates his momma starting a fued. It was my idea.

I think Cena will pick Big Show or someone from Smackdown. Edge will pick HHH GUARNDAMMNTEED

I agree with hbk91, it will most likely be Cena/Flair vs. Edge/Masters...boy, I am so looking foward to that.

The only interest I find Kane-Carlito match is the slight possibility of seeing RVD and even than...I rather see RVD make his return with something more important than pointless mid-card match (something such as what the Dude suggested).

Trish/Ashley vs, Candice/Victoria. Umm, yeah...I am not really looking forward to the match itself, seeing how Ashley is worse than Cena, Candice is obviously nothing special and the fact that I am sick of seeing this combo of women workers/divas (this cannot be stressed enough, WWE need more quality women workers).

However, I am looking forward to the continuing feud of Trish-Mickie. WWE has really lucked-out on this feud/storyline...it is one of the best feud/storylines I have seen in while from WWE.

Michaels-Benjamin at the very least, should be good match. However, Vince McMahon and his damn ego I am sure will ruin what could be something special.

As usually, I will watch Raw. Again, the only good parts about Raw are looking to be Trish-Mickie feud, Michaels-Benjamin and possibility of seeing RVD.

I want to see RVD as much as anyone but the WWE would just be STUPID to bring him back tonight after they've made a big thing for him returning at the royal rumble.

But that's just my opinion.  Maybe he will send a message over the TitanTron or something

All I see are positives.  RVD would get a huge pop for a surprise return and be given the opportunity to really drive home that he is a potential candidate to win as opposed to just making his return.  It would reinforce the old notion "anything can happen" in the WWE and give Raw back that "must watch" feel that it often lacks.  Its not like it will hurt the buy rate or make fans feel cheated that RVD came back early.  If anything, I think it could be a boost to the buy rates as people will have seen him and might actually believe he could win. 

You're entitled to your opinion and all, but I really don't see how an early return could be anything but good for RVD and for WWE.  I'd like to hear what you think is bad about it.

I'm just glad he is coming back.

I think it would be funny if RVD came back with Alphonso.

I dunno whether or not the WWE has stopped doing the Pre-RAW pics or not, but I can't access them.  They may be posting tonight's pics though.....DirtyDarren

Well a solid 15 minutes of inane chatter to start the show, as usual.  Too late at night to have my TV up loud, too, so I missed every darn word of it XD.  The only thing more tiresome than a WWE interview segment is a muted WWE interview segment :P

Ah, well, at least Shelton/HBK is on the card tonight.  If McMahon doesn't mess things up, that match alone should be awesome.

The opening segment was a mixture of good and bad.  Edge was as solid as ever with his heel intensity.  WWE, it'd really be idiotic to take the belt off him.  The whole movie trailer thing was lame and cheesy, IMO, as was the first half of Cena's promo (I almost nodded off).  Things picked up at the end when things got more serious.  Cena also got in a good one liner.  The ending was strong and I'm optimistic that Edge will bring out the best in Cena at the Rumble.  I really hope Cena doesn't get the belt, though, Edge has been terrific.

And man, WWE isn't going to stop reminding us that "Live Sex" drew a high rating,
