RUMOR: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Coming To Wii U

I guess it's not big news, we already know Call of Duty is on every platform and its mother, but the absence of any official indication so far was unnerving. Guess this can kick off the rumor train now?

Considering that Treyarch took the time to create Wii and DS versions of COD a Wii U version isn't surprising at all.

Cut the RUMOUR and put CONFIRMED cause in no way in hell would Activision miss the oportunity of selling it in the maximum number of platforms available. Hell, even the DS had CoD games for fvck sake. I even think there are cellphone CoD games...

Its on the 7 years old system, so, why not? Let me guess what the iPad will used for! For choosing your loadout/perks in the lobby (as it can't be done on your tv) and shows the map during gameplay! Superior version confirmed can't wait.silversix_

Does this surprise anyone at all? CoD: BLOPS was on Wii.

Of course it looked, sounded, and controlled like **** compared to the versions on PS3 and 360 (no really, the default control setup was imprecise to the point of being unusable and even heavily tweaked it was still bad). Lets see how they manage to screw up with the Wii U version of this.

How is that even a problem, or are you just shilling for the Wii U?

CoD is a multi-player game with a tacky hollywood setpiece dominated single-player mode that a large percentage of people don't play AT ALL. Unless people are more interested in the online with the Wii U (and the service is a lot better than the Wii) it will be the inferior version for that reason alone.

For those who don't know that Call of Duty is also on the Wii. Check it out.

This may come as a surprise to everyone, but the COD games have done pretty well on the Wii. Granted, they don't sell as well as the Xbox 360 versions, but I think all of them besides MW3 managed sales of at least a million copies. And I think MW 3's lackluster sales were due to how rushed the port was and how many issues it had.

So, this is not much of a suprise. For versions that most people are surprised to learn about, the Wii Call of Duty games have done pretty well.

I also completely disagree with you that Wii U online is just as good as current generation online infrastructures. Nintendo cannot compete with companies like MS and Sony when it comes to online gaming.

Black Ops 2 will be the best shooter of the year, hell maybe even for several years. It looks so good, I have been reading about it and they are making some big changes and improvements to the series.

People on here hate it, but that's because people on here do not live in the real world and are hypocrites. You, the COD haters, are the minority.
