New Xbox 360 Bundle (Forza + Alan Wake)

Major Nelson announced the new Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle on his blog. The bundle will include a 250GB Xbox 360 and two system exclusive titles: Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 3, and Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake, which will be available via a download token. The system bundle will retail for $300, and will be available at retailers "in the next few weeks."

So, downloadable game and Forza Motorsport 3? Reminds me of the Forza-ODST Bundle not too long ago. Much better than that old holiday bundle that had Batman and Pure in it. First time I think I've seen someone include a downloadable retail game, hey, at least it's a 250GB hard drive so there's not much to complain about since you're getting too critically acclaimed games at no extra cost.

What's Sony and Nintendo planning for the holidays, I wonder.

That's a great bundle for people who want to buy a 360 soon.

I'm guessing they're doing the downloadable thing to prevent the used market from being flooded with bundle copies.

and I imagine it's cheaper to digitally distribute it as well.
