My Antec 1200 came with a scratched side panel on the acrylic. This seems to be a common problem with antec 1200 cases. Its starting to bug me a lot!! Arghhh. I found a side panel replacement off FrozenCpu.com

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9951/win-146/Antec_Twelve_Hundred_Custom_Side_Panel_w_DIY_Bolt-On_Full_Window.html

Looks pretty cool, but the thing is its $100!!! I could almsot buy a whole nother antec 1200 for that price. I am thinking about just putting a sticker over it. Or maybe spray paint it?? hmmmm

That sucks, I bet it would drive crazy me too. I guess like the you said in the poll, a sticker could work or if you really like the case that acrylic black sounds cool. If all else fails, just return it, and get a different case.

Spraypainting it will likely just scratch or peel off if you don't properly prep the surface. I'd just slap a sticker on it or find some way to cover it, as $100 is way too much for a piece of acrylic.

Agreed 100 bucks is just way too much for just a side panel like that. Maybe if it was $50 bucks, but no way for $100. Hmmm I don't know where I can get a sticker though..

Rather than spray paint the whole thing, why not try a just hiding the scratch behind a stencil?

You just cut out the out line of it, tape it down to the case and spray.

This is currently plastered in the center of my clear acrylic side panel, and I think it looks pretty nice.

A sticker would be fine if it really bothers you. I mean you could almost buy another case with $100 dollars :P

If it's a brand new item, why not send it back for a replacement?

go to the antec website store and on the left navigation panel is a link to "spare parts" look or use CTRL+F. anyways a replacement windowed panel is about 20 bucks. I was just there looking for my 1200 but for the other panel. BTW, I just created this account to answer this question...
