[QUOTE="helium_flash"]What position will you hold?clyde46
General assistant, if I can get the job.
I'm not sure exactly what that is suppose to mean. Are you on par with cashiers or store/section manager?Tell them that their store sucks....lol jk.....
Go in there looking nice (clothes, make sure your hair isn't all messed up, etc.), be sure to speak politely, speak cleary, loudly, and enunciate, be sure to answer any of their questions, and maybe have a few questions for them :).

I got my first job interview tomorrow and I'm really nervous. Anybody got any advice. The postion I applied for is at TK Maxx which sells a mixture of clothes and home stuff.clyde46
Dude just remember if it doesn't go well its perfectlly coo. Sometimes it takes a few interviews to finally get pickd up.
in addition, quality in customer orientation and commercial skills should be highlighted as your strengths during the interview
previous jobs / success stories in the recent past will guide you in telling what and why you are suitable for the job
but in the end, don't lie, personal knowledge of your weaknesses and guidance requirements (as assistent wanting to become manager, do you?) it's propably a matter of being on the same level with your boss and have a click (chemistry)
basically my advice is to agree with what they say (at least for your first week on the job :p)
good luck.
Relax, smile, be polite, shake the interviewer's hand and say "Pleased to meet you" and stuff like that :) Don't worry, it'll be fine! Oh and act keen and interested!tofu-lion91
