Man it seems like there going to be a handful of Horror games coming up that could be good.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot(X360, PS3)

Alone in the Dark 5(X360, PS3, PC, Wii, PS2)

Resident Evil 5(X360, PS3)

Fatal Frame 4: The Mask of the Lunar Eclipse(Wii)

Left 4 Dead it is a Squad Based Survival Horror FPS.

(I don't know if this is a horror Game I know it is an RPG but it is Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, the way they decribe it it is kind've scary but that might of been a bad translation.)

they've never been scary though, at least not for me anyway. the only reason the earlier games were more tense was because the controls made it harder to escape or shoot at enemies.

I don't know why people are looking forward to Condemned 2 so much. The first one wasn't that good, what little novelty the game has quickly wears out. I was tiered of it before I even reached half way through the game.

Edit: Alone in the dark looks promising from what I have seen of the game.

The combat felt a bit stale toward the end of the game, but luckily the devs have seemed to fix that problem in Condemned 2. You can throw weapons, there are combo's, improved gunplay, fatigue bar etc. Reports say that they fixed most of the complaints people had with original Condemned.

To each their own. I loved it from beginning to end. Also, Condemned 2 fixes all the negatives in the first game. Watch this weeks 1UP Show to see and hear about it.

Very nice thread tc, I'm very interested in Fatal Frame 4 and Sadness but unfortunately i don't own a Wii soo....

But Alone in the Dark, RE5, Condemned 2 and Sillent Hill will be very nice also. What about Dead Space? Shouldn't it be here also?

Well all I can say is I hope they improve a lot on the first game because after you got your tazzer in the first game all you had to do was tazze and bash for the rest of the game (it did not even matter what weapon you used, making the whole variety of weapons pointless, except for the more powerful firearms).

Did do you know if the second game will include a more complete forensic / investigation segment or are they going to abandon that part of the game

After watching Dawn of the Dead today, I could use some zombie mayhem. Yay to games like Left 4 Dead and Dead Island. I can't wait :D

Yes, check out this weeks 1up show. Almost all investigations are optional but if you do them you get to choose everything, what tool you use, answer questions based on what you see etc. You actaully do the investigating now.
