The Deadly Dozen series is. and The Forgotten Hope mod for BF1942 allows 3rd person Hidden and Dangerouse 2 is...and  hmm thats all I can think of right now that lets you play as infantry in 3rd person. There are alot of tank and fighter piolet games that allow 3rd person.
i know there are a lot of tank ja flight sims about WWII. Someone may collect all those names and make a list. like one for tanks, one for planes and one for strategies as well. "hidden and dangerous" and "deadly dozens" are FPSes also. about forgotten hope and other mods... everyone keeps talking about. are they really so good? are there single player campaigns also? i never been in mod thing...
u r right. but to call 'em action games isn't also so good. i had argue some while ago when i told that most games are basicly action games. fps, rpg or strat. so... we just should make terms and accept them.
Well Forgotten hope is more then just a mod.  It took BF1942 and made it 1000 times better and more realistic then ever. I love it one of my favorite WWII games ever.  Warning it is a resource hog.  ID suggest at least 512 to 1 Gig ram to have a good time.  Here is the link for itÂ
sry, i haven't post a while too. yes, basicly "Third Person View means all views where you can see your character while playing". but u understand what i wanted to know. i start to think that one day i may try this Forgotten Hope (and i have to get BF1942 too, damn). FH free i guess? unfortunatly ur link, m1rock, in not here :) but no worries, i can use google :P 512 to 1 Gig is no problem, i have 2x 1 GB Corasairs on my mainboard :P And 7800 should be ok VGA Icarus, why can't u play on internet? Maybe we can help.
