Whtas there to like about Dragunov? ....i can only see ....its looks and cheapness...because in overall its got a underpowered ammonition type ( like AK-47 a bit longer) wasnt that precise for a sniper short barrel and its lightweight made it hard to control the recoil ....in sum itsa crappy massessive production weapon with a cool design .
if you're going to say the AK-47 you should see its upgraded variants such as the AK-74, AK-101, and the AK-103. They are much better.caseywokos
   Actually according to the opinions of some published Arms Dealers (including Russia and China), the AK-47 is preferred over the AK-74 in poorer countries (and bigger markets, such as Africa), and this is where the bulk of sales are. Africa is always rife with some war or another, let alone the Middle-East. Hell, one country even stuck it on their flag! Guess which one?
yesss, 4th favorite weapon topic :D and again i have to say i don't know much of the topic because there are tons of different weapons. but i often use german's MP5 versions and G36. i guess i should start memorise weapons betterly. (i know a bit about AK versions and M14 and M16 versions but those aren't my favorites)

Of course it would be preffered over the AK-74 because it's cheaper.
of all the weapons ive actually used, I would have to say the 240 Bravo 7.62mm Light machine gun.  High rate of fire, rarley jams, very accurate, and low recoil. also, although sussaly a crew served wepon it can be used singly without a AG much like a SAW. Â

Ah yes the 25 pound wonder we Canucks call the C6. Love the gun but hate to be the one carrying it lol.
Oh all the modern weapons, I'd have to say the M2 .50 Cal HMG or TAR-21 or the G36.
I don't like the C7/C8 that much, fun too shoot but a b**** to clean and take apart.
Haha yeah overseas I was an AG for our 240 gunner. On raids we would use the weapons we had mounted on our hummers. one 240 and one SAW per squad. Unfortunalty my gunner was only about 5'6 and 140 lbs. So when we would jump out of a black hawk id be carrying my m16a4 and eight 30 round magazines of ammo for that, my ruck sack, my 9mm pistol with two 8 round mags, full battle rattle and 3 belts of 7.62mm ammo for the 240. two in my back pouches of my ammo belt and one around my neck. Makes it hell on your legs when your hovering 5 feet above the ground. lol  Id give him his belt then sprint hell to my fireing position. I actually was a better shot with the 50 cal, but it loses points for me becuase it isnt really portable. you can't assualt with it.  That makes a big difference especially how we would opperate in the combat zone.
