and i thought that "Favourite Position" means like crawling or crounhing or stand up walking-running... anyway i answer with this way. i like crounching. so i can move silently and carefully. about sniper or other classes - depends on mood.
speed changing wasn't H&D2 invention. Splinter Cell had it too (maybe some game else). and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell was released Feb 19, 2003. Hidden & Dangerous 2 was released Oct 21, 2003.
like sometimes discomfort control and bugs? :) i remember one difference from other shooters that if u didn't shot some while then guy lowered his gun slightly. and if u wanted to shoot then first u had to rise the gun again. at the beginning it freaked me out because i couldn't react so fast on enemy fire, i had to make one extra move. but eventually i got hang of it.
but it's still somehow logical. u can't hold your hand horizontaly in front of you very long. they got heavy. holding gun is bit different position but still the hands tire. so as soldier sim HD2 wants to be it's quite interesting to see that men aren't all powerfull and strong heroes. and in HD2 eventualy i saw noticed easyly when he droped his piece and made right away one left mouse click. it didn't shoot but made man ready again, for a while. what pissed me off was ladders. u had to pray beside every ladder that u catch it and won't fall down. by the way, how did u played HD2? i did it only as lone wolf. in that time i wasn't much of team-player, means i didn't like the idea that i have to change character in the middle of fps game.
