I hate most english dubs, but like in S-Cry-ed, the english dub is much better, and with DBZ and Rurounin Kenshin, I like the Portuguese dub much better. You just summed up my thoughts on English anime dubs.Â

the three best english dubs i've seen are Medabots, DBZ, megamannt123Agreed about Medabots, I liked the english dub better than the portuguese dub (never heard the japanese yet), but DBZ I still prefered the Portugese dub, although I'd rather see the English dub over the Japanese anyday.

In most cases yes. There are exceptions though. The Japanese voice acting is always far superior to the English dub. Â

There are no exceptions. The English anime dubbing industry has a sum total of zero talented people who commonly work on it.
English anime dubs range from annoying to incredibly terrible.
Sometimes I think they're actually trying to sound awful because constantly doing that badly by accident takes a level of incompetence that's mind staggering.Â
[QUOTE="Soniczero1993"]WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR!!!!????mitu123Reminds me of Mega Man X4. Game has some of the worst English voice acting.i still have to try the original X games, i have played X7 and X8 (7 was okay, 8 was really good)

Yes, I've played them all.

X6 was a trainwreck. RANDOMIZED levels!? WTF!
X4 was fun.

X4 was fun.
X7 is mostly 3D with controls, auto lock-on and camera that needs serious work and X had to be unlocked halfway through the game, lol.X1-X3 are awesome and X4 and X5 are up there with them.

that was stupid, at that point Axl and Zero (in X7) were already powered up, so there was no point in using XMegaman X is one of the best games in the series. :Dmacrules_640I really enjoy it :) though it's the remixed version for PSP :P
what are you serious? that version was awesomeIt's sort of like saying "it's bad but it's better than the 4kids version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." You can apply that "praise" to almost anything and have it be true. As such it's basically meaningless.Â

It was terrible. All the characters were reduced to being completely one-dimensional, not that they were very complex characters to start with but still...
Shredder and Krang were combined in an exceedingly stupid way.
The writing was awful.
The whole thing was a disgrace. Â
There were plenty of well written shows in the 80s. Even if you just look at cartoons.Â
One of the major reasons that the original TMNT worked was that the writers knew the premise was ridiculous and they just had fun with it. The writing was silly, but it was done deliberately. The characters had clever dialogue that referenced that fact.Â
The result was a cartoon with good action sequences that was fun to watch.
The 4Kids version took the same premise and tried to make it dark and serious. Rather like a bad 90s comic. They changed Raphael from being clever and witty to being a complete sociopath. They took out all the more light-hearted aspects of Leonardo's character and made him serious to the point of being dull. They also exaggerated Michelangelo's fun loving aspects to the point where he cant be serious even when the situation calls for it and they made Donatello a complete cliche nerd instead of just being smart. The result is that the characters have far less complexity and just aren't interesting. The way they changed Splinter's origin was both stupid and nonsensical.Â
The 4kids version didn't make any sense.Â
A pet rat can not learn martial arts. Nor can it be aware of renaissance art.
In the original he was a master martial artist before he mutated so it makes sense that he would be able to teach those skills and, since he was cultured, it makes sense that he would know art.Â
As for the mutagen, that's going to require a suspension of disbelief no matter how you use it.Â
