Georgia RS freshman Zach Mettenberger has been dismissed from the team. Huge loss, especially after his monster performance in the spring game. But at least Richt has the balls to drop a big player, unlike most coaches.. I guess.
Should be Murray, but I'm afraid Gray might get a chance at the beginning of the season. Gray had a better spring, but he has no arm and is very inconsistent with his short passes. Murray might perform poorly early on, but he has a lot more potential.
Up to 10 Tennessee players involved in brawl. Two arrested, 3-5 others (varies on source) could follow. One player already arrested includes UT 2010 #1 recruit Da'Rick Rogers (lmao). Apparently the players get VIP treatment at the bar and about half were underage (obviously including Rogers). The Knoxville PD is trying to sweep it under the rug by letting Rogers get off with charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, but I don't see how that's going to work with a man being knocked unconscious and hospitilized and others being injured.
