....wouldn't of all the other lands in the Legend of Zelda game of flooded as well, because they are all on the same planet, so if one part of that planet was flooded (Hyrule in this case) other lands such as Terimina would become flooded as well. Do you know what I am trying to explain here, if you do, your thoughts please.

Terimina is not in the same land as Hyrule. Read this from the offical website:

"When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina.

It is possible that we would know nothing of Termina's existence if Link had not been led there by the mischevious actions of Skull Kid. Termina is very similar to Hyrule, but at the same time extremely different."

Well then what about Tauru in TP?

Is it in another dimension?

or is it something like a suburb of Hyrule?

IkeXC07

I believe Tauru is in Hyrule, or just outside its boundaries. I don't know what this has to do with anything though, because TP takes place before the Wind Waker and thus, before the flood.

That really bothers me. There should be a way to drain the water so that future games could take place after WW instead of before.

i was playing the game last night and got through the The Forbidden Woods and was talking to the Deku Tree when he said something that caught my attention. He said the Koroks take the seeds and plant them in hopes of building forests on other islands. And that these forests would make the islands bigger and that then people could live on them and be happy. So, maybe that's how the land would return after WW. By the seeds of the Deku Tree spreading forests through out the land.

[QUOTE="morbious17"]But then again, this is a video game world so it would be possible to take only hundreds of years.hermanson

ya i mean video games are basically like cartoons, anything can happen in them

The more realistic it gets, the better.

i was playing the game last night and got through the The Forbidden Woods and was talking to the Deku Tree when he said something that caught my attention. He said the Koroks take the seeds and plant them in hopes of building forests on other islands. And that these forests would make the islands bigger and that then people could live on them and be happy. So, maybe that's how the land would return after WW. By the seeds of the Deku Tree spreading forests through out the land.

HOW COULD U GUYS OMIT THIS THING!!!!!!!!!!! (thats why i read every post)

This is the answer. I remember this too, but i never actually got to do the sidequest.

my first playthrough i didn't do that sidequest either.

Why didn't you do that?

forgot about it.

Ok.

Maybe there will be a future Zelda game that is a couple of hundreds or so after WW and that and an evil form below (from the ocean) is trying to sink the islands so the reborn Link has to deflood (don't know if thats even a real word lol) the great sea somehow in order to defeat this evil. This is just an idea I thought of but that could be a way in how the Hyrule from OoT comes back.

The Great Sea
Once Hyrule was flooded by the Gods to ‘protect’ the land from Ganondorf, it is turned into a vast sea. The inhabitants of Hyrule are forced to quickly settle on the top of the mountaintops, and eventually they forgot about Hyrule and the land below the sea. This huge sea with many islands became the new home of all life in Hyrule.

Does that help any?? This was taken from Zeldauniverse.net, hope that helps.
