Did dark link appear in any games other than OoT and four swords adventure? I cant remember....its been so long since I've played a zelda game.....4 months!!!
Maybe I'm wrong though, I only own OoA, and next to Zelda:II it is probably the worst and I have never beat it. I really think I should beat it someday....

Yeah, that person might just be confused between the two because Dark Link has really only been in the one I said before (AoL) and the games mentioned in the beginning (OoT and Four Swords Adventures)
Hmm, Fierce Diety Link was also known as Oni-Link in Majora's Mask, I beleive it has something to do with the U.S and Japanese versions having some changes.

Oh yeah, that's right. Oni-Link was the other name for him. Oni- is the like the prefix to demon so the name suits Link well when he has the mask on.
I'm pretty sure he isn't, but there is fierce diety link, and dark link isn't like dark jak, because jak turns into dark jak, and dark link is a seperate entity that fights against link, sorry I'm being so negative.

he is only challenging if you fight him in certain ways, with others he will fall quickly without much of a fight

As much as I love Zelda II, the furthest I've gotten is just to the Great Palace....I've died shortly after entering it numerous times. I find it impossible to make it through those long ass paths to the Great Palace without dieing at least twice. It doesn't help that the one up dolls are a one and done deal. It's the only Zelda I haven't beaten. Still a damn good game though.

There is 6 of them in OoA they are pretty weak compared other dark links
I have a Twilight Princess battle played out in my head where Link and Dark Link meet in a field, both on horseback, except Dark Link has a Shadow Horse. Then they charge at each other and try to knock each other off their horses. Then eventually they both get knocked off at the same time and they have to fight each other on foot. Oh yeah, that would be sweet.8)
I really can't understand everyones fixation with 'Dark Link' he appeared as a mini-boss and a boss in two Zelda games, I can think of tons of better mini/boss fights! Dark Link is more or less just a Doppleganger.

But he is Link's alter-ego! The battles against him so far haven't been that good, but there is a lot of potential for him. **My favourite mini-bosses are the Iron Knuckles.

He is not Links alter-ego he is merely a doppleganger that mirrors the image of Link. I agree there is potential for a great boss/mini-boss battle but nothing more.
