When you think of Final Fantasy, whick game comes to mind? Which game had an emotional connection with you? Which one was special?

Here is where you can discuss that special Final Fantasy game that was for you.

For me that was FFVIII, not only it was my first FF game, but Squall had the personality I used to have back in those days :?. Another fact that bring me memories is the love story betwen Rinoa and him.

Absolutely FFX comes to mind. My first Final Fantasy and my first 'real' RPG for that matter.

I think of the trials and tribulations Tidus and Yuna went through together.

The SNES era comes to mind. IT was, after all, the golden era of the series

Most of my nostalgia comes from VII. It was my first FF, and the one that introduced me to the FF series. Memories of first playing VII came back to me when I played through it again last summer.

My favorite era is definetely the SNES era, though. IV-VI were just epic!

For me it's FFVIII my Mum brought it for me and I just couldn't stop playing. It was my introduction to the FF series and I really got engrossed in the storyline. FFX is also very special to me because it really got me addicted to RPGs and the PS2 in general. I also developed a great love for the characters and still adore the storyline and gameplay today.

Every game leaves something in my heart, and none are more special than the others.

FFX-2: Not a great game at all, but my first final fantasy. I played the whole first chapter before my sister asked me if I played the first one. The parts that stick with me the most are the parts before I played FFX. Namely, the whole of CH 1 still come off as good to me, mainly because of the way she told everything to Tidus to explain to you what was happening.

FFX: Second FF, and I loved it. After playing it, FFX2 sucked though. The parts I cry about most are the music, first of all. Every soundtrack in the game brings back memories, and that was great. Parts I remember most: the first scene and battles with Auron, Going through Macalania, Looking out over the calm lands, and the destruction of The port (Kilika?) when Yuna sent the others, and the ending scenes. Ok, so I lied. This is more special than the others.

FFVII: Not a great game in my opinion, but the parts I liked most were again, the opening scenes in Midgar, the scenes at the casino place, and Cait Sith's death. Not Aris though, because that didn't really have the same impact to me.

FFVIII: I didn't figure out how to advance the story line once I got to right after finishing the first of the other peoples missions (three guys, can't remember names). I remember a few scens most, namely, running from the huge thing in the first real mission, and the dance with Squall and whats her name. But thats all that impacted me, and I didn't really like the story.

FFXII: My next game, better than VII, VIII, and X2. I remember the opening parts with just vaan and penelo most, because it was fun. After that, theres really nothing that makes an impact on you throughout the rest of the game.

FFIII: Tried it for the ds. No story (basically), and the music sucked, but there was a scene that I loved with all my heart (cried even). When the guy thats in your party for quite a while in hte Fire Temple dies. It was sad.

FF Tactics advance: Nothing. This game was the crappiest story, and made no impact on me what so ever. But the gameplay made up for it.

NO! What you do is this. DONT USE YOUR SPHERES. Don't use your lvls until you get like 20 of them. The higher number of spheres filled in your grid, the slower it is to lvl up. Yu still lvl up slower by lvling up and not using them, but not as much. It makes the entire game really easy, it's like your characters are a full area ahead of where they are then.

No I'm not. I used however much I saved up over the last area when i entered a new area. I would instantly be stronger than the enemies I would fight and again save up lvls.

I didn't think Seymour was difficult, more like annoying...

The only battle i had trouble with was the no-spoilers-here-whichever-thing-i-have-to-fight-at-the-Zanarkand-Ruins'-3rd-form.

I was severely underleveled at the time, so that's no excuse. But Mega Death was a force to be reckoned with during the battle

FFX was one of the easier FF's with certain exceptions..lke Yunalesca, i think thats what KC was meaning, but overall the whole game is easy if you play correctly......but the optional enemies....like the monser arena......... ridiculously hard..

That actually makes so much sense. Does it ever get to the point where every new level requires the same amount of XP?

Yes actually...i think its like 25000 or something like that AP(or onother figure maybe 4 or 5 0's)...it does not go above that average for needed AP...or if it does...it goes up very slow....a good fight in the omega ruins would always up my S.lvl by 2 or 3 even with the sphere grid maxed out :)

maybe you just plain "blow"... how can you beat a boss using 2 years? :P I only got stuck for about 3 weeks then i went back all determined to try to beat her again, just to fail again and beat her successfully after another few days. NOT 2 years ever!
