I went straight to Win 7 horgen123You did the best thing ever! Note I paid 100 bucks for Vista!
[QUOTE="horgen123"]Maybe Win8 will be a failure like Vista was toomitu123It might, I notice a pattern about Windows: A great one comes out, then a not so great one, and it repeats everytime.XD
I dunno. 2000 is okay, ME is s***, 2003 is alright, XP is alright, Vista is good, 7 is great.
I think overall it's improved over time.

You didn't have Vista when it was crap, you had it when they improved it over time with SP2 actually making it good and no one would pick Vista over XP when Vista first released(then several months even) due to having many problems. I also linked you the problems it had earlier as well.Because Vista left a bad taste when it launched(and months later), people simply preferred XP even after Vista improved with SP2.
Also, I was going by the typical "great then no so great and repeat" formula that happens going by reception.
[QUOTE="Cloud_765"][QUOTE="horgen123"]Like Vista? horgen123Problem? GTFO. All I ever heard about it was crap, crap and utter crap until Win 7 came out. How? XP is so unruly, and the navigation on it is terrible. I could not find s*** on a computer running XP.

[QUOTE="mitu123"]*gah*Cloud_765I had Home Premium, I really didn't have any problems. People need to stop rushing out to get a new OS when theirs works fine. Really, you ought to only need a new OS if yours is getting really archaic. Yes, true that, that's why I'm sticking to 7 for a while.
I did. Which is why it pisses me off when it gets so much praise. Because it's not nearly as good IMO as people say. Hell, even when it was never, I still didn't like it.Cloud_765It was praised for being well done in every other area for what it did and I don't think many had a problem with it, though you're one of the few users I know that don't like it.

Thanks!
Gotta love people judging OS's off of their first few months only and not their overall performance. Cloud_765problem?
Windows XP was amazing. Windows 7 is not bad, Vista is crap. i hate Vista.jediknight52501Vista isn't as bad now like it was before SP2.
Gotta love people judging OS's off of their first few months only and not their overall performance. Cloud_765Yes but it took time for Vista to improve many months even and not many would wait that long for it to get better, they want it to work as soon as they bought it, I would be mad if I bought a game or PC part that didn't work.D=
