[QUOTE="killerband55"][QUOTE="julian_jr"]How is your upload faster than your download?Cloud_765
that is very strange
It might be because we run off a wireless router, and my computer is connected using a wireless adapter. Usually having wireless tends to be slower than being directly wired. There's gotta be some other explanation.. I'm interested since I've never seen someone have a faster upload than download speed.[QUOTE="julian_jr"]In my house it's been at 4mb/s for as long as I can remember. The little upgrade is nice, however Gamespot moves just as slowly as always regardless of the upgrade.horgen123The servers here might not be better... The servers here are just way too slow. In that website ranking site (forgot the name) Gamespot's speed was defined as very slow.

[QUOTE="julian_jr"]I'm surprised they haven't attempted to upgrade the site however. There's so many bigger websites out there which are much faster.horgen123Costs money? It may, however they already spend money on many wasteful things. The whole GS fuse probably wasted a ton of money which wasn't necessary. They should consider upgrading their servers since they get so much traffic
[QUOTE="2ndWonder"]finally did a test =PI'll assume you have xfinity then?seems Comcast has the best internet.

Yep, it always depends on the connection though. The closer you are to a designated area the faster you can connect which causes a lower ping while further ones have higher.
You want below 100, anything after that will cause problems. I think up to 150 may be safe but isn't recommended, and over 200 is laughable.
^Is Comcast in your area? [QUOTE="julian_jr"]They don't offer that fast of internet here. :(mitu123That's a shame. We don't have that. We have a local plant (which happens to be a monopoly here :x) that provides all internet, electricity, utilities, etc. Worse part is the service is awful but it's the only thing available here.
[QUOTE="PolskaKing"][QUOTE="mitu123"]I love Comcast.2ndWonderSame here! :Dit's awesome. :D
