So, I picked up Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition during the most recent steam sale and maybe it's because I haven't played anything so reliant on RNG in a while, and while I'm completely addicted, I can't help but feel that the game's AI cheats.

I've lost count of the times when a game changing play could break in my favor, but I, of course, roll red skulls including the re-roll; even if I have position and numbers.

This game is infuriating/addicting, and I can't help but wish that GW stop whoring their IP out to seemingly incompetent devs like Focus/Cyanide.

This is apparently a thing:

I can only hope that it actually honors GW's depth of game design without resorting to shitty dice cheats to compensate for lazy garbage AI.

The multiplayer interface can only improve because it's currently crap.

The fact it has a dice system is like playing Mario Party.

I feel ya. It's the same feeling I get when I play Mario Kart 8. It's hard to enjoy something that punishes you for no fault of your own.

The original Ninja Gaiden. It made me rage to new levels I never knew possible.

More recently, Borderlands. **** that game.

Super Street Fighter IV.

Always hated running into fuckers who would play as Ryu or Ken and just spam Hadoukens during the entire match.

Of all-time?

Either Super Ghouls N Ghosts or The Adventures of Bayou Billy

And kids these days think that the Souls games are hard...

@Dasein808: BattleToads or the first Ninja Gaiden (NES).

Contra (NES) would definitely be #1 if it weren't for "up, down, up, down, left, right, left right, b, a, start"

EXACTLY! They have no idea. They should all be forced to go play punishing 8-bit games.

Those are good choices, btw. Super Ghouls N Ghosts still ticks me off when I think of it.

Call of Duty 2 on the hardest difficulty level was extremely frustrating for me. As for an online game, when I use to play League of Legends, the amount of bullshit that would occur in that game...lmao

I'm sorry but it's actually "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start".

LOL! You are correct, sir.

I also remember "A,B,B,A" for Ikari Warriors!

I don't know why people think Contra was hard. It was challenging sure but not something that forced me to throw controllers. I finished it twice when I was under 10. Battletoads remains the most difficult game ever made, followed by Ghosts n Goblins.

Ghosts n Goblins is definitely a contender, but I never really played any of the non-arcade versions, so it never really made me rage outside of the the quarters that I wasted.

I've heard about the rage meatboy can cause, but I've never been a big fan of platformers; so I've never tried it.

Contra was difficult but fun.

The last Ninja Gaiden game that I played was on the original Xbox and it was hard, but it never made me rage as hard as Blood Bowl has.

I think that it's just RNG games and human perception in general (i.e. I tend to ignore the rolls that go my way as "the way the game should be" and get overly focused on the rolls that fail causing me to believe that it's cheating. Unfortunately, the consecutive double red skull rolls don't reinforce my faith in the game's RNG ).

As my guys level up, I'm finding that the skills they earn help to mitigate the bad dice rolls and it gets to be more fun. Unfortunately, your starting scrub players are agonizingly inept until they get some skills.

I'm playing as chaos, who are given no skills initially to compensate for their innate strength, so that probably also has something to do with my distrust of the RNG because all of the other teams that I faced seemed to have answers to their bad rolls in the form of their starting skills.

In any case, I'm excited to play the sequel.

World of Warcraft PvP.

The epitome of unballanced (and sometimes infuriating) gameplay.
