After reading reviews for Xbox One, it's shaping up to be a better machine all around than the PS4. It does more and do it better than the PS4.

Yeah that ear bud thing. I mean it does the job for sure, but I usually talk a lot when I play online games and this is just a selling point for me. It also tells me that Sony is not as serious as MS when it comes to online. Doesn't really matter, if I get the PS4 later on it will be for its single player exclusives mostly.

Knack framerate: runs at 30-40 fps, even dips to as low as 14 fps even without much stuff in Knack. How is that even possible that the game is having a hard time keeping a stable framerate even though it doesn't have that many objects and action going on?

Killzone: Shadowfall framerate: Far from 60 fps, runs at 40-50 fps and even dips to as low as 30 fps. 60 fps my ass.

@gago-gago: pretty much. Seems like the best bet is to wait for titanfall and or infamous for both consoles. Both seem rough around the edges rightnow but xbox one def offers more

fu^kin bullsh%t. ive been watching ps4 streamers on twitch using the default headset and it sound a lot clearer than that.

I used the PS4's chat with @TheEroica and it worked pretty well to me and just as good as anything we've experienced on Live. *shrug*

I don't do voice chat so this doesn't effect me.

Not really a feature I use at all TBH but the Xbox One's headset looks leaps and bounds ahead of the PS4's little ear bud thingy. I'm not surprised that the kinect looks to be better than the PS camera as it's what MS are hyping and charging extra for.

Another feature doesn't matter at all to me.

I have been using PS4 and the PS4 sounds fine with the mic. I don't own the camera, but I sense BS once again.

Chatting online is so so very overrated!! I do both chatting and playing without chatting. It's one of those things you really learn to not care to use any more.

How deep does DF go to try and make the PS4 look better? DF already lost a lot of credibility months ago...

Yeah it is. I have to get a better headset for the PS4. Right now I'm not playing anything online.

After comparing a real headset that is included with the XO with that mono ear bud included with the PS4, it's not hard to believe the XO voice chat is of better quality than the PS4's. Also if someone paid extra and bought the PS Eye, and you compare that with the new Kinect, the Kinect comes out on top with quality. And lastly with Xbox Live having 300,000 and growing servers versus to how many PSN have but no where near XBL numbers, once again the Xbox is of better quality.

LOL ill gladly pay 100 dollars more for the Kinect. PS4 sounds like trash! LOL

Great now you can comments to your friends in crystal clear quality how bad the games look.

To clarify to some people why chat quality is important (to me anyway). When I am playing online games with my friends it is often quite frustrating having to ask each other to repeat what they said as it sounds like their head is in a fish bowl. Personally if it was just to talk to random people it wouldn't bother me as much.

On to my second point, I just picked up a PS4 last night and can confirm that 1 - Playstation eye chat quality is pretty bad 2 - the standard headset is also bad but 3 - the quality seems to improve with a better headset, I used a hands free kit from my phone and my friend reported that it was better, he used one from his and it was alright but i'm hoping that a good quality headset will improve things.

To sum things up there is a possibility that the chat quality will improve with a better headset, however if there is not a marked improvement I for one will be disappointed as Xbox one chat sounds as clear as if the person is in the room with you, easily as good as vent / teamspeak /mumble with a good codec on PC (when using the headset that is, kinect chat is acceptable but nowhere near as good as the headset).

Anyhow in today's world where multiplayer is huge and twitch is being used like crazy, id say its a bigger deal than you'll ever admit.

You will also never acknowledge that the xbox had very rough drivers causing some of the launch games to be set below 1080p. Many devs even came out and said how the xbox drivers were lacking and on top of that, they even said how they must get used to ESRAM.

Maybe one day, I will get a mature and intelligent response from the likes of you.
