XBL prices are going up

I haven't subbed to live since 2007 so it doesn't effect me, but for new adopters to Xbox that sucks. $840+tax over a 7 years console gen to get nothing but online access and cheap shovelware games isn't something I'd be happy to pay for.

do you rent movies?? Do you go to the theater to see movies?? Technically it is the same idea, you get the initial experience that you are paying for. I do know you claim to subscribe to PS Plus (or whatever it is called), that too is a subscription service that gives you nothing but an experience. Keep digging your hole though..

They didnt let a kid play on the footbal team last year because he has to watch movies on the basic netflix package in plain HD. I live in a high class, common sense inclusive area. It’s permissable to throw rocks at people if they’re not even on HD yet.

I went and bought a year of PS plus for 30 dollars after reading this; really hope Sony doesn't do something so foolish as MS is doing here. That really sucks for Xbox players.

Paying for online is a scam and always will be on consoles. This is where PC really thrives and is free for the majority of games not only can you play current MP titles but old ones heck people still play the original Counter Strike online. I enjoy console gaming too but I will never ever give them a cent for online.

I can't envision Sony following suit. They'll leave Microsoft out in the cold and laugh.
