Yah, Wistron were the same people that helped mass produce the original Xbox. But MS has a new partner now to produce the 360s.

It's not being discontinued... they're merely hiring another company for the manufacturing.

i wonder if this new company wil get the kinks that is causing rings of death for the current 360's. now what would be awesome if they did.

That might be why they made the move. A lot of those problems may have been the manufacturer's fault.
