Why DON'T you have a Wii...?

As topic states, I want to know why some of you guys don't own a Wii.

I personally have played the Wii, and I like it. I mean, I like it as much as an Arcade machine in a laundry room. It's fun for a while, but the novelty, and the graphics wear off.  

 Seriously, the Wii is a fun system, I just can't get myself to relly own one. It's not that I can't afford it. It's just that no matter how fun the game is, I do not spend a lot of time playing it (all this experience, is from my brother's Wii, which he gave me for a week).

Again, Zelda. I'm not going to put down the fact that Zelda had terrible graphics on a widescreen HDTV, without 480p cables, the game is fun. But I found myself wanting to just turn off the Wii, and go back and play the Xbox 360, and Xbox Live.

Simply put. The Wii novelty does wear off. Esp. if you're a serious game who's used to consoles jumping NOT only in technology, innovation, but graphically as well.

Well we all should be. I've owned at least one console per gen since the third generation and I'm only 14.

3 words: Out of stock.

That's why I don't have one. 

If they were cheaper. They cost like $30-$50 to make and they sell them for $250. They could do 'em at $100 and still make a killing. Total rip off.

Also i'd like it if they had one really decent online FPS that used the Wiimote come out for it. I'm sure it'd be possible.

1. No good games

2. Don't like casual games

3. I'm an adult

4. I have little faith that the Wii is the best console for my kind of games. 

I have one, but I'm too busy playing Pokemon Diamond to play it. i still haven't beaten Super Paper Mario (Pokemon is too addictive)Grodus5

I own one but really theirs not really enough games for it, Would you rather buy Truma centre, Super monkey ball, Rayman and Ssx over Geow, Oblivion, Kameo, Dead Rising and all the other genres of games that the 360 has.

I want to get Wario ware but its isnt really a AAA games its more of a 8.0 games with a bunch of mini games at that.

and 4 Gc games which are Re4, Zelda WW, Sw Rs2, Vj.

im still playing the old console and its not cost efficent for me to get a new console

A. My friend has one, and i hang out at his house a lot.

B. I like the games on 360 more.

3. If I got one it would be hard to play all those games because I already have my hands full (and wallet empty) with all the cool games that I want for 360! (crackdown, the darkness, bioshock, halo 3, assassin's creed, fable 2, etc)

1. Not enough money

2. Probably won't be able to find one for a while when I do have money

2.Not as interested in the exclusives as I am the PS3 and 360 exclusives

3.Am yet to see truly great implementation of the controller (Half of Wii Sports is awesome though)

I can understand why it's popular but it's not for me at the moment. Maybe buy in 2 years or so.

Yeah but what if the game in the laundry room is TIME SOLDIERS?!? That would mean you love it a whole lot right!? But seriously I thought that line was hilarious good job.

I don't have one because I the motion thing wears real thin after a short time with the games I've played.

I'm don't care for owning one because there isn't really many games out for it that are interesting to me. Most I see seems like I'd get bored quick.

I find the 360 more appealing ^____^ followed by the PS3...just my flavor. 

I don't have one because I needed money and was able to sell it at cost a few months later.

Super Paper Mario was the one game I was looking forward to outside of Metroid Prime and Mario Galaxy, but the articially inflated game time made me want to blow up my Wii. 

I will buy one again in the future after it has some more games for it.

The games library is laughable, same with the DS... I can't explain why it's selling so well. Maybe if it gets some deep games I'll be in on it, but probably not. There are some amazing games coming out for the 360 and some for the PC as well, and I only have so much time for gaming :)MyopicCanadian

Not getting something like Elite Beat Agent or the Fire Emblems is just outrageous...

There is more stuff on the DS than on anything new right now... 

"Serious" gamers wouldn't choose any console actually, "serious" gamers have pcs.  Cows and Lemmings don't like it when Hermits look down on them and claim that the Hermits don't understand and that pc gaming costs too much while they look down on the Sheep and their consoles are too expensive themselves...

2. Not a priority for me to even bother finding one - especially here in NYC, which may have thousands in stock already
3. Not motivated enough to even bother finding one
4. No games that interest me as of now - the big 3 will release later this year
5. I'm not motivated enough/not a priority for me to jump on Gen 7 wagon yet.

My reasons.

 I spend too much money on video games.
95 % of my game systems are Nintendo, maybe I should get an Xbox360 or something.
