Um you just listed a bunch of subjective bullshit, but ill gladly go down the list. Is the stealth good as MGS or SC? No its not but the TPS is far better then either of those games. For you to say Gears or Tomb raider is a better TPS is hilarious, TR straight ripped off UC TPS mechanics, there almost identical and both are far better and more dynamic then gears of war. The melee combat in gears is a joke, there is no platforming , no climbing and shooting and not to mention every enemy is a bullet sponge. That's not to knock Gears of War because it came out much earlier then either and it was a good game but UC does pretty much everything better. That's what makes UC great it does so many things up there with the best of the games in its genre. How many Third person shooting games had platforming, vertical integration applied in the levels, great animations and nice melle combat all in one package? All while being one of the most visually impressive games of its time. As for Bloodborne it seems much faster paced then Demonsouls but its not your type of game you cant blame those who are hyped for a game from a developer that has released three AAA titles in a row not to mention I have yet to read one negative preview of the game. Im curious what games do you like on PS at all? You seem to do nothing but bash it.
I never said it wasn't subjective, But gears is pretty universally known as having the best TPS mechanics. Sure there is no climbing because its a straight TPS not an action platformer TPS stealth mix like UC is. TR might have ripped off UC mechanics (in your mind since you know tomb raider has been out much longer like in since the PS1 days) but its really UC that ripped off TR but doesn't do it as well. The reboot did the mixture perfectly. The melee in gears is perfect. How is it a joke? you talk subjective BS but then throw it out yourself. wall bouncing 2 piece with a gnasher is just perfect. the combo of melee, shooting, and movement results in a perfect combat system. ALso some weapons have the OSK melee kill like the retro lancer but requires timing and risk but totally worth it and of course the lancer chainsawing people in half. the canned melee in UC doesn't come close. You obviously never played gears. The last line, well thats the main issue with system wars. People think if you don't personally like a game, then you are bashing it, then they think you are bashing it because you don't like the platform. In other words, its people's own stupidity that leads to thinking that. I said I don't give a dam about forza or killer instinct or screamride but that's fine with you. But i say I don't give a dam about blooborne or drive club and I'm bashing it. The truth is the PS3 era pretty much sucked for me. Most of the games I liked from PS in the 1 and 2 era, are either dead or I grew out of or went multiplatform or a combination of the 3. I used to love MGS, FF, Devil may cry, GTA, Twisted metal, resident evil, tomb raider, GT, Ridge racer, tekken, wipeout. But i grew bored of fighting games and racers. I don't play them anymore. I don't play JRPGs i'm not a teenager anymore, they don't appeal to me. I assume most people that like them are teens or pre-teens. Again it doesn't make them bad, they just aren't for me. God of war is my favorite sony series. Its awesome and its fun. The order was the perfect type of game I wanted. They just failed at it sadly. I don't really care for any of their other series. LBP, GT, DC, Naughty dog games, KZ, Infamous, all decent to not very good (IMO) So basically just god of war and then whatever new IPs they come up with this gen. You never know when you get a great series, but we always get them. For me last gen it was mass effect and gears. I play RPGs, FPS, TPS, Sandbox/open world games, Action, platformers. I don't play fighting, Stealth, racing, JRPGs, or indies. Those games bore me.
